Character: Outstanding tea from one of the most famous tea gardens in the world. Well worked, pine-needle shaped leaf has an
intense aroma and makes dark, reddish infusion with very pleasant spicy taste with sweet notes.

Infusion: dark reddish coloured

Ingredients: black Sri Lankan teas

Brewing method: Brew 1 teaspoon of Kenilworth in 200ml (7fl oz.) filtered and freshly boiled water for 3 minutes.

*OP= Orange Pekoe relates to the quality of the tea leaves.  Orange does not refer to the colour but to the Dutch word “oranje” meaning “royal”. Pekoe (in Chinese pak-ho) can be translated as “white” – the colour of the fine fluff beneath young shoots.
